Arjun Kapoor recently shared insights into his relationship with his half-sisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. It began under deeply tragic circumstances in their family. The actor has been candid about his mental health struggles and expressed that he feels most vulnerable around his sisters. He noted that their bond developed significantly after the loss of their mother, Sridevi. This created a unique emotional connection among them.

In a conversation with Raj Shamani on his podcast, the actor reflected on this vulnerability. He stated, “I think I am the most vulnerable with my sisters, which is a good thing.” Arjun Kapoor elaborated that both he and his sister Anshula had already experienced significant loss, and meeting Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor during such a difficult time fostered a sense of shared grief and understanding. He described their initial connection as being rooted in vulnerability. The actor said, “We were at the lowest… something that we wouldn’t wish for our worst enemies.”

Arjun is the son of Boney Kapoor and his first wife, Mona. He has navigated complex family dynamics following the deaths of both his mother and Sridevi. Kapoor emphasized that the presence of his sisters has helped fill the void left by his mother. The Gunday actor added, “Because I don’t have mom, there was a void and now I have sisters.” He appreciates the emotional support they provide, allowing him to express feelings he might not share with others. He remarked, “I have spoken about such things with Janhvi that I never even confessed to my own self.”

Arjun described his relationship with his sisters as one where he feels the most myself.He shared that he has a special rapport with Anshula, who intuitively knows when he needs to talk. And he feels blessed to have such open communication with his siblings. He acknowledged that while he cannot replace the maternal bond he lost, his sisters offer a different kind of emotional connection that is equally valuable. “I can at least talk to them,” he said, highlighting the importance of their relationship in his life.
